Why Geneva eLab and its sprints?
Geneva: place of resources to share
In Geneva, there are educational and inspiring actions and experiences in the field of innovation, notably around the Agenda 2030, that deserve to be dispatched locally or in various remote places.
Indeed, events to create synergies are regularly organized where these methods are presented, debated, shared, experienced and practiced by actors from various sectors. We are pleased to share that at our small level.

e: ‘electronic’, for online design with digital tools
In 2018, from the very beginning, Geneva eLab was conceived with the aim of providing an online service to those living in more ‘remote regions’, without omitting the face-to-face sessions intended for those living nearby.
To our surprise, while we were constructing the website, this approach was quickly overtaken by events, as they became widespread during the confinement due to Covid 19.
Lab: Social and Cultural Innovation Lab
A social innovation lab is a place where a new idea can take shape thanks to collaborative intelligence. It can be a new service, product, production method, device, law, strategy… or their transformations.
The scope of a ‘social innovation’ lab goes beyond the social. It can concern all sectors: social, humanitarian, cultural, educational, health, commerce, business, architecture, transport, etc., in short, where human beings practice activities. Therefore, it meets the needs of all types of bodies: non-profit organizations, startups, SMEs and SMIs, public and cultural institutions, large groups, multinationals and international organizations.
